Sunday, April 18

I'm so looking forward to Malacca + KL trip!
I want to visit the peranakan museum, cruise down malacca river, eat lotsa nice food.
I want to buy shoes!!! (opps, babe better not be reading this)

MC's mindmaps done!!! woohoo!
Meanwhile, my bedroom is best place to reside in the house. The big cupboard although not a good sound insulator, but, good enough to minimise the negativities. urgh

Friday, April 9

Oh my, its been such a long time. Aloooooha!

Anyways, nothing much, still doing the dreading wil2 assignment.

But headed down to Arab st recently. And i think i'm falling in love with this place. The sermons, the food (yes, the food is great great great!!), the tourists, the sch kids having their tours. No air cons, no big malls, no excessive noise. Just nice.

These are the peeps who went down the other day. Had great fun looking at old toys and photo taking.

Oh man, i love this robot! Its head can move!!

Monday, January 18

This is the show i'm watching now. Nostalgic for the old lady in me. Man.

Go catch it, although its just 12 eps, but the story is between 1949 and the current days. If only i was present in that period, then its cheongsum, cheongsum and more cheongsums. What can you complain about? Wohoo. Yes, underneath the war & uncertainty lies the 凄美的爱情 story. =)

Caught Crowd Lu's 2010 7 days concert on satuarday. And it was marvellous! Held at dragonfly (ok, that place is not that big, but cosy enough) and luckly we got there early cos there was a queue and its free seating/ standing. Although we didnt get the best seats, but who cares. When he started singing, everyone was up. Oh yeah!

His l-o-v-e sign in rocker style is oh yeah, damn rock man. Hahah. Anyways, the whole concert was nice, and he even sang hokkien songs. And his live singing was similar as what i hear through the radio. Nice.

Saturday, January 2

So long, little friend. Its 2010 already. Happy new year!
It'll be an exciting year, but first, i still got a group project on hand to complete. Due in 13 days time. What's done? hmm....we know the problem, we've brainstormed on the possible solutions. Just that we have yet to link the solutions to resolve the problem. Easy. Not easy, but its do-able.

Anyways, the last major event of 2009, christmas at er gu's. I'm like in the middle of somewhere but nowhere. Man, kids are no longer kids. But food's good.
And this little guy's photo aplenty because he's just tooo cute. Enjoy

Now its going to be mugging and more mugging till end of oct. And did i mention that i'll be having a module during holidays? and that module has 1 individual & 1 group assignment. Bring it on and let me enjoy my holidays.

I am so glad that SM is finally over and done. BT, Bengawan & Prima. oh man.

DAY 8

Didn’t go anywhere because we had to reach the airport by 12. Breakfasted at a nearby breakfast store near the hotel. Airport shuttle by the hotel car. Cost us SG50. That ended our trip.
DAY 7
To the zoo, to the zoo, to see the pandas pandas pandas. Yes, the zoo entrance fee is NT60= SG3 its worth is just to queue to see the pandas only. Pandas were the main attraction. Queuing in the hot sun was no fun, luckily there were occasional breeze. Their other animals’ enclosures were big big big.
Colourful poop display
Koala. Can they actually be happy in such warm weather. Maybe their enclosure is airconditioned.
Elephants
Giraffs
Zebras
Camels
Hippo, big, round and smelly.
White rhino
Gorilla... ew, they are damn big and huge. like from outer space. Baboon Little cute girl
Reptiles and amphibiansWoodchuckThis animal was rolling and rolling on the floor. Maybe its itchy or smthgTram back to entrance
DAY 6

Breakfasted at 永和, the 米浆is surprisingly better than豆浆!!

Headed to Marty’s Shrine to see the changing of guards, apparently at the CKS memorial hall, they also have the same ceremony. But at the Marty’s Shrine, the distance the guards walked were much shorter than that compared to the ones at CKS.

They walked… no, they marched slowly and even marched up the stairs and onto the platforms. Wonderful.

Then there were stunts with the guns (or rifles or weapons).
The guy in white collared tee, is like their nanny. Any creases in the uniform, any issues regarding the guard in station, he’s there for them. So there are 2 guards right? Heaven’s just not fair. See for yourself why one guard is more popular for photo taking then the other.
Grab a bite of soup and lu rou fan at a some small shop. Then its towards 孔子庙 and 包安庙 which is opposites each other. Then its to a shopping ctr near Taipei main station where the storefront showcase many many many Gundam models.
Trained to CKS memorial. This place is huge, the steps up to see the statue of CKS is a lot. FREEDOM!!
Went to Taipei main station underground mall. Many shops selling shoes which were too big for me, clothes, nick nacks. Good for shopping

Evening was spent at Miramar shopping ctr. They have a shuttle at Jiantan mrt station. Ferries wheeled.Pink coloured cabins is sooo sweet!
Dinner at the shopping ctr's food court like food area. This looked damn appetising and nice.

Take 2 at shilin NM. This time discovering more unknown secrets. They sell pets there, dogs, cats, pig, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, porcupines.
And some of the dogs were extremely small and fragile. Too young to be sold. The kittens were worse, their faces were drooping, lifeless, just sleeping and hiding away. Ew, it’s a depressing state they are in. even the rabbits and guinea pigs, many kept in one cage.
