Updates of soo long.
Today marks the end of my rotation within hskpdept. Woohoo.
It had been rather hectic.
1--> (trying hard to rem) PublicArea. Yes. It was really public. Finally got to see guests and such. After so long in the backofhse.
2-->Uniform rm. Where i got to sharpen my clothes-folding skills and met many ppl. Basically, anyone who wants to get their uniform goes there. And, longserving staff even have credits for washing/drycleaning. Sia la.
3-->Linen with lorenzo, where we were stuck in the super squeezy store to look for the SO's bathrobe. But in the end couldnt find.
4-->Store with betty. Bruises obtained due to that dumb trolley. And it nearly fall on my feet.
5-->Coordinator aka live-answering-machine. Where the aunties speak eng. I'm so nt used to it.
Thats it. Mon is afternoon shift coordinator. Woohoo Its till 11pm! Nice.
Great insights from the experienced during lunch. It really brought me down to think about what i want to do in the future. Man. How would i know. I'm just a 19yrold girl. Though not too young, but not too old either. Seriously, i cant imagine being in the same job for more than 3yrs. But then, these few days, i've been faced with similar questions.
'how come only you in hskping? orh, you choose one ah... actually hskping can learn also.'
'hskping very tough, not for a timid girl like you.'
'why dont choose frontoffice?'
Man. The optimal i ask is for rotation. But since there isnt, then just let it be. Whats wrong with a small girl in hskping. At least, i challenged myself to make the bed, do the sheets, clean the toilets and do stuff i've never ever done before in my 19yrs on earth.
And i've got to meet people whom i've never imagined i would meet. I made friends with people of the world. I've got to communicate with my second and third languages. No. I'm not unhappy in there. Its just too many people are discouraging me from the continual in this dept. Bleah.
On the more positive side.... got a treat from ah ben and tony. Wohoo. The food is good and so is the mehmeh. Even though communciation may be a lil slow. But we still understand each other. Actually, thinking back, it still feels a lil weird to be out with prc guys. Ah. But whatever.
2 days off. Looking forward to greencurry tomorrow.
Shall post the pic ltr.
