On a bright Sunday morning, at 9am, i stepped out of my house and went to woodlands to meet my goddad. It was damn freaking early. But i couldnt sleep on the train though. Woohoo. Talk about excitement. It all started when i just asked him whether he was free for lunch this weekend. =)
So.. we set off to causeway link at around 10am. But but.... its was all jammed there. Seriously jam-packed. There were actually plans to call off the trip and head to somewhere in sembawang for seafood. But luckily, we went via the second link. Where it was smooth-flow of traffic! Damn. Should have just waited for them at my house right? Then no need to travel down.
So we reach Malaysia at about 11-12plus... where my bladder was going to burst from the over consumption of water. I needed to relieve urgently.. and when i asked babe how long more to go before we reach kukup... he replied: a30mins more, i nearly fainted.
Luckily... i didnt burst before i reach.... And the relieve areas were 'woohoo'. Its just a hole. Just a hole. And i can see the mangrove bed and waters. And i looked for where to flush, there wasnt any. So i went out and washed my hands. And returned to the table. Then, realising....
And then there were loads of mudskippers!! A whole lot! They are huge and volumious and with tattooed bodies. But food came before we could take pics of them.
And i ordered blackpepper crab.. for what?!
Ohh, and i dont really want to know where the seafood are from.
After lunch, we headed to inside. To the houses on swamp. Man. It was damn cool. But the sun was shining right above our heads that w/o the brolly would do us more harm. Why didnt i take pics of the houses?? I was busy sheltering myself from the oncoming traffic of bikes and bicycles. It was a long concrete pathway that leads to the houses. And to one of my goddad's girlfriend we go to. Her house it just soooo good.
Free flow of sea breeze, unsalty air, clean floor, nice wooden planks. What more can you ask? Oh... and the view of the sea. Wa! My mama will love there! Chill the whole afternoon at the smthg similar to balcony atop the swamp is no biggie.
I would love to stay for the night...
Off we head to Tanjong Piai. Where we get to be at the Southern most tip of Asia. How cool can that be? Just right in MAL!!
To be cont'd. Nights
