Saw this news article on Straits Times today. It made me realise that human ashes can turn into better use/keep-age rather than being stored up in the urn. The company: Alogordanza, located in eastern Swiss canton of Graubuenden is said to be able to turn ashes into precious stones. Ya.. As in human ashes into diamonds and whatnots.
So firstly, this is what they'll do, separate the potassium and calcium which makes up 85% of ashes from carbon. Bring in extreme pressure and heat...... poof! Graphite.

More pressure and more heat... poof! Diamonds!

And all in all, it only take 2 months, but cost from $6000 to $22500. And guess what? Only half a kg of human ashes is needed to make a diamond. How cool to be remembered by a precious stone.

Saw fresh Roselle flowers sometime back. And finally get a chance to deal with it today. I forgot to photograph it when its still fresh in shape. After boiling, the calyces (i guess its the petals) turn lumpy.

But they turn the water into a intense rose red. Its just so nice. And i made agar agar.

It is suppose to look like this when its fresh.. See the wonderful shape!! So prettty!
