My neighbourhood is so happening. One day is funeral. Noisy and alive with the procession and rites. The next day is a joyous malay wedding. Today is some belated- vesak celebrations? Happening sia.

Anyways, yesterday went to boat quay to catch the last performance of Water Fools, the opening event of Sg ArtsFestival 08. Man. It was damn spectacular. And its amazing how they get the props on the water and moving!

And before that... the view of boat quay in the evening was also enchanting.

Still having the last of sun rays.
And as night dawns.

Just the right ambience.

Pictures, though not very clear. There was a tree and a bed. A maiden in red dress with a man running on a hamster wheel below her. Some long propellers. A man clearing rubbish on the water. And 2 gods with feathery wings.

There were fires, music and fireworks!! Woohoo.. mama and i had the first class seats man. Though we were practically facing the backview of the whole performance, but the display of fireworks didnt really matter. It was just wonderful. You get the bang bang sounds, and the boom! and the splattering of displays. Wooohoo!

Before that, we head down to Medi-ya. My love. And bought these snacks which i've-yet-to-try.

These are my prized items from Medi-ya: Pretz's Mentaiko and cheese. And Meji's Panky Choco.

And look at the Panky choco's baby blue packaging. Isn't is just soo lovable? Oh man. I want to let my mouth enjoy the bitterness soon!!

And this is the japanese pancake which mama and i bought for 2 dollars per pc. The cheese flavour was... distinctive. Never tasted cheese like that before.

Ooh. Watching dynamic korea is so much fun. Housewives are testers. As in they test out new products and existing ones and gives the company feedback. And in return they get to keep the products, for free! Oh man. Is there such a good deal in sg? I bet.
