DAY 3

Had a hotel change to 北投 in the afternoon. Breakfast was at a cosy breakfast store with the aunties serving up delicious meals, the salad with fried onions, chicken bits, lettuce, alfafa, cucumber and thousand island was unforgettable and the pork burger with alfafa, eggs and sauce….. ahh.

Packed and mrt-ed down to the 新北投. Toured around their market place and there were many small streets. Had a taste of crepe with bananas and chocolate… hmm, lots of students were buying from this stall.

Checked into the北投水纱莲 hotel which is super near to the mrt station. After that headed to see the 地热谷 but it was revamping.

This is the source of the 温泉 in北投, it’s a pity we didn’t get to see it.

Then we went to 泡温泉 at one of the hotel, 水都。。。ahhh… it was wonderful. Not many people were there, just about 4 couples. One thing about hot spring is that when you finish pao-ing, you butt will have a stingy sensation. I guess its because of the friction from the stone steps. Its not a very nice feeling though. But your skin will feel extremely subtle.

They have 4 pools, 2 cold and 2 hot. Facilities there were fine.

Then its off to dinner at this beef hotpot shop. Man… its damn nice!
